DEAD CHRIST (ENGLAND)

Dead Christ was a black metal band from Great Britain that formed about 1990. DEAD CHRIST's only commercially available product would be the 7" 'Satan's Hunger' EP released through the Greek Molon Lave label in 1993. User instructions on this Charles Manson dedicated opus advised the listener "'To get maximum enjoyment from this EP, set fire to your house, stand in the flames & wait for Jesus Christ to appear!!! Hail Satanas!'' The band would credit themselves as vocalist Necrobutcher ("vomits of the necrophiliacs' dreams"), guitarist The Eternal Worshipper of the Seven Churches of Necromancy ("6-string bonesaw"), bassist bass destruction of the holy shrines") and drummer Undead Devourer ("Apocalyptic Cloudburst of darkest milleniums"). Antecedent demos included 'Dead Christ' and 'The Mortuary Mass' in 1992 and 'Lex Talionis' in 1992.
